Hello there!
My name is Andras. I'm an amateur travel photographer living in Switzerland. I say travel because I'm on the road most of the time when I create. And I say amateur because I work full-time as a software engineer, but I found my passion in traveling the world and capturing moments.
For me, photography is a way of telling visual stories, a way of expressing my creative vision. What drives me to take photos of nature elements or landscape scenes is that they are reminding me and the viewer about something we very often forget: they show how beautiful and rich our planet is. With architectural images I like to portray and emphasize how grandiose things humankind is able to create. I also enjoy taking street photographs by filling the frame with human life and genuine moments.
When it comes to traveling, I love to explore new places around the world, experience different cultures, wander the streets before the sun rises, and just get lost somewhere. I usually travel solo. When I'm alone I can truly be present wherever I am, and as an introvert, observing, thinking, and daydreaming are my things.
I am also colorblind, and I often get the question "How do you perceive specific colors then?" Well, I have no idea, so I let my photos do the talking instead.
